Cairo, thanks to successive Islamic dynasties, gained its form, all of which left their mark on the city with imposing architectural creations. “The city of a thousand minarets,” Cairo used to be described in this way, and even today this phrase is uttered several times, although today the number of minarets is well over a thousand. Cairo, where the past and the future meet. A city that never sleeps, that follows its own rhythm.
First day:
Check out with us one of the 7 surviving wonders of the ancient world, the famous pyramids of Giza, as well as the Sphinx, the father of terror, the mysterious lion-bodied, human-headed, one of the largest and oldest statues on earth! We visit the unique saqqara pyramid of Pharaoh Joser, which to our knowledge is the oldest, large stone structure in the world, the pyramid itself being part of the funeral complex of Pharaoh Joser from the 3rd dynasty. The unique six-step pyramid was designed and built by Imhotep. The blue wall tiles of Joser’s tomb, the hieroglyphs of Pepi I’s pyramid, and the cat gate (Abvad el Kotat) are all breathtaking attractions. We then visit Memphis, one of the largest cities in the ancient world, where we see the most famous piece of II in the open-air museum. A huge fragment of a sculpture of Ramses. We will have our lunch in Saqqara. Early in the evening we occupy our 4 * accommodation next to the pyramids.
The second day:
Come with us to the majestic citadel of Salah El-Din, or Saladin, one of the greatest monuments of the medieval wars. The citadel is one of Cairo’s most important attractions, a typical early medieval fortress with huge, imposing gates, towers and high defensive walls. It’s worth the effort to climb the stairs: there is a dazzling view from this height. There are three mosques here, including the stunning Mohamed Ali Mosque! And finally, the crown of the day is the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, where we view thousands of years of breathtaking treasures. The museum, dedicated to the heritage of the pharaohs, showcases more than 150,000 antiques, from finely crafted jewelery to towering statues of sculptures depicting kings.
If our time allows, we will make a short visit to the famous bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, which will take you on a time travel to the world of the old Arab stingrays (market). Inviting vendors, the smell of spices, the hustle and bustle of beautiful goods will enchant you for long hours, the narrow streets will captivate you. When you’re done shopping, it’s definitely worth relaxing with a cup of traditional tea at the famous Fisavi (Fishawi) Cafe or a café named after the famous singer Umm Kulthum.

Air conditioned; a bus transfer of the size of the group, a very experienced Hungarian-speaking guide, tickets to the listed places, and lunch (without drinks).
To be paid separately:
Drinks during the day. The Mummies Hall entrance ticket (180 EGP) at the Egyptian Museum, entrance to the inside of the pyramid 400 EGP (2nd and 3rd 100EGP), photography, video fee. Extra transfer costs from areas outside Hurghada according to the price list!

Our suggestion:
Wherever we head, a bottle full of water is an essential accessory for the hike.
Appropriate clothing for the place, clothing recommended for ladies are a skirt under the knee, trousers and a shoulder top, a top with a neckline, a scarf, comfortable closed shoes, a sweater for the bus (air conditioning). Because of the sun, we recommend that you use sunscreen, headgear, sunglasses, and of course don't forget your camera at the hotel! Layered warm clothing is required during the winter!
